Ex-military (ARMY), Scott hails from Slidell, LA, a suburb of New Orleans. The Voodoo script is Scott's imprint on the 512 area code of Austin TX. Scott's dream was to set up shop here in Austin and build a monster team!
Aaron Williams- (General Manager, Programmer, Level 1 Trainer, Gymnastics Cert, Attendee Dmitry Lapikov Olympic Lifting Seminar, Student of Olympic Lifting under Ursula Garza Papandrea, Coaching of athletes exceeding 3000 hours)- Aaron has a background in football and competitive CrossFit coaching. He has followed the Outlaw Way programming since the 2013 Open and posts to The Outlaw Way daily. You can find his name as Randall Williams in either the first or second place daily. Aaron has taken first place spots in local competitions including The Athlete Open and the 3 day event, The Catalyst Games.
Ryan Myers (USAG Safety Certified, Boys/Girls Gymnastic Coach, Tumbling Coach CrossFit Level 1) has been coaching all levels of boys and girls gymnastics since 2009. He was the Assistant Head Coach and Assistant Manager at Gulf Coast Gymnastics in Gulf Breeze, Florida prior to moving to finish his education in Atlanta. He also competed on the Georgia Tech Club Gymnastics Team. Ryan has been crossfitting since late 2012 and has recently started following the Squat Mafia competitive programming.
Bio: Eve Bryant (CF-L1 Trainer)Eve has extensive background in martial arts, cycling, POSE running, and was introduced to Crossfit in 2015. She has a passion for motivating athletes towards their fitness goals and beyond. Eve is currently serving as part of the David King Fitness Team as an accountability coach to educate in nutrition and help members achieve healthy levels of body fat.
Armando Esparza (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) Mando is a Gonzales, TX native where he was always active in multiple sports: football, basketball, baseball, cross-country & track. He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX back in 2002. Since then, his interest in health and fitness has continue so it's only natural that he found his way into CrossFit. Mando joined the Voodoo CrossFit family in February 2017.
Taylore Shook (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) Taylore coached at CrossFit Crown City in Pasadena, CA before moving to Austin. She has competed in various competitions. She did competitive slam dancing and mosh pitting before she sprained her left pinkie at a Lamb of God concert which left her only to study ballet. Her dancing skills can still be viewed in between workouts.
Leanne Cantalupo (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) has been an athlete all of her life. She grew up playing basketball, soccer, and tennis…eventually deciding to focus solely on tennis as she entered high school. Leanne went on to play NCAA Division II tennis at the University of Missouri – Saint Louis (UMSL), where her team made school history by being the first squad ever from UMSL to qualify for the NCAA Division II Tournament. After graduating in 2015, Leanne moved to Austin to work as a transportation engineer. But, it’s not her fault you sit in traffic! Leanne found Voodoo CrossFit 512 in April 2016 and her life has never been the same.
