Scott Grayson (Head Coach/ Owner, Programmer, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer 2016, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer 2011, 2016, Athlete coaching hours exceeding 10,000 hours, Kettlebell Certified, Olympic Lift Certified, Gymnastics Certified, Powerlifting Certified, Attendee Dmitry Lapikov Olympic Lifting Seminar, Student of Olympic Lifting under Ursula Garza Papandrea for 3 years, Attendee Rudy Nielsen's Outlaw Training Camp, CrossFit Judges Course (2012,2013,2014,2015,2016)- Introduced to CrossFit in 2009. Ex-military (ARMY), Scott hails from Slidell, LA, a suburb of New Orleans. The Voodoo script is Scott's imprint on the 512 area code of Austin TX. Scott's dream was to set up shop here in Austin and build a monster team!
Aaron Williams- (General Manager, Programmer, Level 1 Trainer, Gymnastics Cert, Attendee Dmitry Lapikov Olympic Lifting Seminar, Student of Olympic Lifting under Ursula Garza Papandrea, Coaching of athletes exceeding 3000 hours)- Aaron has a background in football and competitive CrossFit coaching. He has followed the Outlaw Way programming since the 2013 Open and posts to The Outlaw Way daily. You can find his name as Randall Williams in either the first or second place daily. Aaron has taken first place spots in local competitions including The Athlete Open and the 3 day event, The Catalyst Games.
Ryan Myers (USAG Safety Certified, Boys/Girls Gymnastic Coach, Tumbling Coach CrossFit Level 1) has been coaching all levels of boys and girls gymnastics since 2009. He was the Assistant Head Coach and Assistant Manager at Gulf Coast Gymnastics in Gulf Breeze, Florida prior to moving to finish his education in Atlanta. He also competed on the Georgia Tech Club Gymnastics Team. Ryan has been crossfitting since late 2012 and has recently started following the Squat Mafia competitive programming.
Eve Bryant (CF-L1 Trainer) Eve has extensive background in martial arts, cycling, POSE running, and is a competitive triathlete. She found Crossfit in 2015 and it fit perfectly with her high intensity. She has a passion for motivating athletes towards their fitness goals and beyond. Eve also serves as part of the David King Fitness Team as an accountability coach to educate in nutrition and help members achieve healthy levels of body fat and optimize performance.
Armando Esparza (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) Mando is a Gonzales, TX native where he was always active in multiple sports: football, basketball, baseball, cross-country & track. He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX back in 2002. Since then, his interest in health and fitness has continue so it's only natural that he found his way into CrossFit. Mando joined the Voodoo CrossFit family in February 2017.
Taylore Shook (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) Taylore coached at CrossFit Crown City in Pasadena, CA before moving to Austin. She has competed in various competitions. She did competitive slam dancing and mosh pitting before she sprained her left pinkie at a Lamb of God concert which left her only to study ballet. Her dancing skills can still be viewed in between workouts.
Greg Cook (Crossfit Level 1 Trainer) grew up in Round Rock Texas with his athletic background in baseball and bowling. While attending Texas A&M University he found his love for weightlifting and fitness, joining the TAMU Weightlifting Club in 2014. After graduating A&M he moved back to Austin for work as a software engineer and found the Voodoo Crossfit family in July 2017. Greg actively competes in weightlifting competitions including qualifying and competing at the 2018 USA Weightlifting National Championships.
Kali Baker (CrossFit Level 1 Trainer) Kali joined CrossFit in June 2013 and was a coach in New York before moving to Austin. Kali has a passion for educating that CrossFit can be for everyone and shares her journey to resonate with athletes (she lost a total of 120lbs!). She has competed and judged in several local competitions, is a USAW AO Series Athlete, certified USAW judge, and has volunteered with CF East Regionals for multiple years. Her exposure to a wide range of athletes at all levels and abilities has fueled her desire to truly impact people’s health and wellness.
Victoria Schiebel (Coach Apprentice)- Victoria Schiebel is born is bred of a pure Viking blood. Hails from the land of the DFdub. She grew up participating in competitive gymnastics and playing soccer and running around one of the area’s most notorious weightlifting gyms. She went on to play collegiate soccer on a scholarship at William Penn University, while earning a degree in how to stay warm in snow she was involved with wrestling, soccer, and lifting and participates in mud wrestling tournaments, and uses her gymnastics background to win bets in bar duels.
